Kazim is a Seasoned Investment finance lawyer with experience spanning more than a decade in various sectors, including aviation, real estate, maritime, agriculture, transportation and construction. He is a Partner at Probitas Partners LLP, a Lagos based commercial law firm. Kazim is currently on the Board of Dynamic International Ltd; a major Lagos based indigenous construction firm. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Sherriff Yusuf retired as an Executive Director of Intercontinental Bank Plc (now Access Bank). He is the Chairman of Toptech Engineering Limited and Modesty Capital Limited. Sherriff has held several executive and managerial positions in the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, Associated Discount House Limited, and Icon Limited. He is a former President of Nasurl-Lahi-Fatih Society of Nigeria (NASFAT).

ABIMBOLA BELLO

Abimbola Bello was a Partner and Consultant in The Strategos Company. Abimbola worked with Wema Bank Plc as a Financial Control Officer. She joined Lotus Capital as the Fund Accountant and rose to the Position of Deputy Financial Controller and Head of Fund Accounting and Administration. Abimbola holds an MBA (1st Class Honours) from Durham Business School. She is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a Certified Project Management Professional.
 

OLUFUNKE JUNAID

Olufunke is an experienced Investment and commercial lawyer with over 18 years experience in a multi-skilled career. She was an Associate Partner at Taiwo Shittu & Co and worked as Company Secretary and Head of Corporate Services of the pioneer team of Lotus Capital Limited (Nigeria’s pioneer Islamic finance firm) with overall responsibility for legal advisory, compliance, development and management of Islamic Financial contracts and instruments.  

DR. ABDULLAHI JIBBRIL OYEKAN
Director, MSC, Phd, FNSChE, MFR.

Dr. Oyekan has served as a Director in the Ministry of Industries, Director in the Department of Petroleum Resources and Director of the Air force Affairs Department, Ministry of Defence. He has also served as the Secretary for Mining and Geology, Secretary of Finance, Federal Ministry of Education and Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Works & Housing.

He holds a Phd Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, University of London.. He served the Department of Petroleum Resources for more than a decade and was Nigeria’s Representative on the Project Implementation Committee of the West African Gas Pipeline Project, from 1998 – Jan. 2000.

Dr. Oyekan has also served as Chairman of the World Petroleum Congress (Nigerian Chapter). He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers, Fellow of the Petroleum Training Institute, and a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR).
 

ABDUR-RASHEED BABALOLA

Rasheed Babalola is an insurance professional with more than15 years’ experience. He is an associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, with a BSc Insurance and MSc Managerial Psychology from the University of Lagos. Babalola has worked with Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc, Unic Insurance Plc and Zenith Insurance Plc. He participated in the annual regulatory audit of Oceanic Insurance Group in 2010 on behalf of NAICOM. He holds a certificate in Takaful from the Institute of Islamic Banking and Insurance, United Kingdom (I.I.B.I).

ABDULLAHI UMORU

Abdullahi is an experienced commercial lawyer whose practice has covered corporate administration, taxation, international trade, corporate insolvency, regulatory compliance, investment banking, Islamic finance and real estate.

He has advised clients on all stages of investment, raging from deal sourcing, and capital raising to deal execution and exit. Abdullahi has advised the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund, a major Islamic commercial bank and the Premier Islamic Mortgage institution in Nigeria on Product structuring and design. He has also advised agro-commodity trading companies on safe ways to engage export trade, from storage, warehousing to documentation, payment terms and shipping.

He joined Kord Capital Limited in 2013 from Tamuno George Chambers, a firm with niche expertise in corporate insolvency and recovery litigation. He manages the legal and compliance desk of Kord Capital Limtied. Abdullahi was called to the Nigeria Bar in 2011 and holds a LLB and LLM degree from the university of Benin and University of Lagos respectively. He is a Member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Committee of Chief Compliance Officers of Capital Market Operators in Nigeria(CCCOCIN), Compliance Institute of Nigeria(CIN), Pan African Chamber of Commerce, Association of Commercial Finance Attorneys and the International Association of Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM).

Abimbola is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) with ample years of experience. Her experience covers areas such as cost control, ledger analysis, financial statements, budgeting and taxation. Prior to joining Kord Capital Limited as Senior Finance and Credit Execute, she has worked at Royal Roots Communication Network Limited, Alphar Auto Refinishes Ltd and Waziri Idris & Co, auditing & tax consultancy.
